Jas Doyle
Jas Doyle was born in Sydney Australia but has called New York home for the past 10 years. Hailing from a background in fine art, entering the beauty industry was a natural, if not surprising, progression. The decision to leave art school and dive into the makeup world wasn’t even a truly conscious one: she started a makeup course on a whim, while school was on break. She never expected it to become her career, but as soon as she got a taste of the creative possibilities of makeup, it was like a fire started raging that couldn’t be extinguished and she knew it was her calling.
Almost two decades later, including time as a national makeup artist for Laura Mercier, Jas has carved out a name for herself as a top editorial makeup artist in what has become a fiercely competitive industry. She credits her longevity to a quiet tenacity and unwavering passion for the art of beauty.
Her work has regularly been published in international issues of Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Elle, and many others. She has worked with and alongside industry icons and continues to be inspired by the enormous talent of her peers and collaborators. To her, the best part of this industry is the incredible people she’s worked with, who have become her dearest friends and chosen family.
