Born in Arizona and raised in Seattle, Debbie Jacks started an extraordinary modeling career at the age of fourteen. By seventeen she was dividing her time between New York and Europe. The exposure she got to the very best of hair and makeup artists gave her a depth of experience and insight of that side of the business impossible to achieve any other way. Deciding on a career in hair and makeup, Debbie moved to Milan where she quickly moved up the ranks working for Amica and Italian Vogue. It was also at this time that she started an extensive collaboration with Art Streiber shooting numerous editorials and covers for W.
After close to a decade of living in Europe Debbie returned to the US. The painstaking groundwork paid off immediately when Debbie started working for Allure, Vanity Fair, Seventeen, and In Style. The editorial work was quickly followed by advertising and celebrity jobs, shooting with the likes of Ruven Afanador and Victor Skrebneski.
